University of Connecticut Spring Valley Farm Edible Forest Garden - as of summer 2012, the establishment of a forest garden at Spring Valley Farm in Royal1688 Mansfield CT has been underway. Spring Valley Farm is home to 12 UConn students, part of the UConn Eco-House learning community, who grown food for a dining hall, farmers market and restaurant on campus. The addition of the forest garden is an approximately 1/3 acre area. Planting will begin in Goldclub Slot Spring of 2013. We would be happy to collaborate with others for sources of plants, and Gclub once we are established serve as a plant reservoir for surrounding permaculture endeavors.
